Musgrove Family Hamlet Terrace Baddow Road
The Musgrove's moved from Danbury to Chelmsford in 1894
and lived for a short while at 10 Hamlet Terrace in Baddow Road. The
Terrace is shown present day aboven, and number 10 at the end of the
terrace is pictured 50 years ago below. The map dates from 1874 and
shows the section of Baddow Road running from top left to bottom right.
The
four way junction at the top of the map is now the major roundabout
with the Essex Yeomanry Way Flyover. The map shows Hamlet Terrace which
runs away from the road junction on the south side of Baddow Road.
The Musgrove house is now the end of terrace property but originally
Hamlet Terrace had a shop next door which was demolished when the road
was widened.
