William was the fourth child of John and Lilly Digby unhappily he only lived for 24 days and died of Acute Eczema, which is a medical condition in which patches of skin become rough and inflamed with blisters this led to convulsions. He died at 27 Sonning Street Islington on 20th September 1914, 7 weeks after Britain declared war on Germany.
